How to Choose a Lens that Suits Your Needs

Choosing Lenses and Contacts

When buying a new pair of glasses, you must not only choose the frame, but the lens as well. You will need to consider various factors, such as material, type of lens and treatment. Do you prefer a lens made with glass or high-index materials? Does your vision require single vision lenses or bifocals? Will you be wearing your glasses at work or while playing sports? Do you wish to invest in a scratch-resistant and anti-reflective lens? These are a few questions you will have to address.

If you opt for contact lenses, you will also need to take into account various components. The lens must correct your vision problem (myopia, hyperopia, astigmatism or presbyopia) and meet the prescribed wearing period. Contact a member of our team for care instructions.
